Last Saturday, the ITU World Triathlon was held in San Diego. The International Triathlon Union (ITU) governs the Olympic Program sport of triathlon and is a series of competitions ending with a grand finale.
On May 12, 2012, Britain’s Jonathan Brownlee kicked off his Olympic season with his dominating win - this being his second ITU World Triathlon Series. Second place went to Switzerland’s Sven Riederer and third place to South Africa’s Richard Murray.
